Hello as I am going to Birmingham tomorrow here are some picks for weekend this time unofficial because I can not control situation fully. I will be watching Aston Villa-Arsenal game and will have fun in pubs around later.

Pick: Blackburn + 1.5 @ 2.03
Reason: United is a dying club and in this year it's really obvious they play very weak football. Even if they are on second place this is big coincidence and I could discuss about it for hours face to face even with Alex Ferguson.
Let me explain what happened yesterday in Champions League: United sent no defence and Rooney in forward - that means either they did not care about Rangers game or they knew they won the game before kick-off.
Look at fact: when player is back from injury usually (95% cases) playing whole game straight is a big risk and player like Rooney should go off from the pitch or should come from substitution he played for some reasons whole game. That suggested he had a role in the game I felt it watching game and was not wrong although I picked Rangers before game. I was 100% sure he will score penalty.
What is going on: media in England and fans need hero although Rooney is in total rubbish form for nine months he will be pitched because of some mysterious reasons - I can speculate they can create myth to sell him because United is a selling club for last 3 years. If Rooney will play he will not score if the opposition is normal and United can even lose this game very much depends on defence and Van Der Sar.
Allardyce has good record with United but only at home United very rarely beats his teams away from home also very much depends on Blackburn players approach new owner and I believe it is a boost like with Aston Villa game. Allardyce and Ferguson are sitting in the same pot (as goes for agent's provision both were accused and both refused to talk to BBC) conclusion for one more time I am against United this can be one goal win and nothing more if only sports factor will decide definitely not smashing. If Blackburn will not be afraid and I believe they won't they can even beat United as this is not a big power for some time

Reason: To be honest I don't believe in Houllier for long term there are many indications that if Randy Lerner will sell his top player every summer this club will not progress. Also appointment of Gary McAllister is something I can't understand maybe you are more secure when your assistant has not clue about football as he does not make conspiracy against you with players or management this could be the reason.
But anway Villa does not lose at home they stopped United so draw or home win are definitely in options. Arsenal has rubbish goalkeeper which makes many mistakes Wenger has secret romance with french waitress so this is more in his head than team preparation and Arsenal is in trouble - four defeats in last five games. Very similar teams of 'virgins' I mean twenty years old players against another youngsters Villa youngsters are weaker and have less experiece but I believe they are able to stop Arsenal and even win over them extending their agony.

22th November Sunderland - Everton pick

Majority of people will praise Sunderland's marvellous win at Chelsea but I wrote (and stated before the game) that Chelsea defeat was a result of mysterious internal problems. Suddenly they forgot how to play football and Sunderland adressed precisely 50-50 yards balls into Chelsea penalty area with ease. Something was not normal there something fishy in that game Chelsea suddenly forgot how to play football although despite their absences they still pitched better team in terms of quality!! I do not mention great h2h of Everton against Sunderland even during Steve Bruce era Everton are able to win there. Many teams lost points and winning this game Everton is closer to Europa zone. As for Sunderland don't overestimate Darren Bent's return - without him they won at Chelsea so may be boost may be detrimental influence. I believe after team selection analysis Toffees are able to win there but this is definitely not easy game - let's say if I did not pick this game Everton would win 4-0 and I would regret so this is my pick

City play ugly - they are afraid to attack even in home games, some players are treated like rubbish and they open mouth after leaving - many good players could not find place in basic eleven so thay are on loans or on bench - there are conflicts in City and I doubt Mancini can be a fire man here - someone else decides in City. Blackpool plays offensively creates a hell of situations and have nothing to lose, they can only surprise us in a positive way. Wasted a handful of situations at West Ham should have won that game but were extremely unlucky. Look: Blackpool won over WBA which are stronger than Wolves after red cards for guests but opening goal was scored before. This is a relegation clash and defeat will be painful for Blackpool they will be relegated anyway in my opinion but will give 'a head and hand'. Blackpool should not lose this game.
Bolton are surprising me in a positive way. Tey have decent players in correct positions and a boss is 'from the heart' grown there. All this is making perfect connections, they give hard and fast performance when you are not giving 100% against them you can not count on mercy. Newcastle very good appointment of Chris Hughton and won a lot of games unexpectedly new national team starter Andy Carroll has water in brain and smart and cheeky approach to him will force him to make mistakes in forward. Goalkeeper could be perfect but could be very unstable and generally speaking Bolton is a stronger team. Home win

I can write and repeat many sad but true words about United. Last sentence of Ferguson 'We do not need any incoming players' please read as 'We have no money for new players, there is huge pressure on finance from owners and creditors club is sinking' but as I wrote this is icon ang will get silet help so they always will benefit referee factor. Aston Villa is weaker comparing to last year's Houllier still has to convince us he is a right man. Got eough credit from me problem for this team is lack of efficiency and not enough firepower. He has bad assistant McAllister which managerial career was failure but Gerard is responsible for recruiting staff as he is a manager there. Winning 3-2 with Blackpool reserves does not convince me at all. United clearly better from City in last derby and draw was result that allowed them keep unbeaten run and would settle for this if given for above. Away win

Blackburn manager old fox and we can be sure he has something in mind to surprise Tottenham we are justified to expect this. I don't think Blackburn will even lose this game but et's compromise Totttenham will not smash thhem in current situation
I will play Stoke DNB. You know situation of Liverpool. I will study financial background but let's focus on the manager. Imagine old grandfather is bragging himself because he can have sex once a month and is very happy. But his neighbour can have sex three times a day with girlfriend, has a lover and goes for a quickie with girl from work from time to time. This is picture of situation Liverpool play bad and Hodgson sees positives.
Stoke has many stings and is extremely hard to beat at their fortress. Dangerous from set pieces and will not be afraid of Liverpool because no one is afraid of them now. Liverpool is an average team and it is not hard to win with them as many teams proved this season. I'm up for Stoke

Some people are calling Manchester United 'The Saintssaint' and the same goes for Alex Ferguson. I will write some words why it is cheap lies.
United is in agony. The truth is club has huge debts and owners are not eager to pay huge amount for club any longer. Players are in queue for bigger contracts demanding more money as Rooney did. Imagine you having old grandfather dead and still not report him to get his pension every month. This is club's policy. Why they keep winning?
1. Referees decisions nearly everytime they benefit of them. Even ex referees give interview about special treatment for United players
2. This is a league's and country's symbol. They have silent support in football federation because United are still good selling product around the world and have to play in Champions League, popular in Asia etc
3. Blackmail of media - Ferguson says I will not speak to them if'... and everyone is silent. Why if some things are not right? Ferguson is definitely not the saint LOL
4. Rivals are afraid of them without reasons. This club is now anemic players are 'tesco value' and some icons are getting older and older. Rivals play defensively not going for the clash and United win most games by one goal scored at the end
5. Good relations with some clubs some clubs give hardest performance against their rivals and lose easily or not but lose with them like Wolves which wins over MC or fight till the blood with Chelsea.
Real and Barca have exclusive television rights deals and in England money from TV is shared more eaqually. Real sells just his rights for huge amounts record in the world amount. MU has television money from joint agreement between Premier League and Sky and ESPN. 10th November Premiership picks

sorry for lack of activity last time I was mega ultra busy. Some people which know me got Premiership picks on private basis and only they can state what it was - I will not brag ablut Liverpool. Back to blog activity - statistics on its way but I am working about shape and dimensions how it should look like and priority is quality not rushing
Aston Villa still believe will catch the momentum and convert wide range of opportunities into efficiency. Blackpool is the weakest opponent since Houllier's arrival and if not now when? Next game is United and it will be harder when it goes for full stake. I don't like McAllister he is useless in this team but full responsibility on Houllier. These players even replacements like Ireland or Dunne have quality to win such games and they have to hurry up if they don't want to have lost season anyone is losing points and still in contact.
Chelsea dropped away game at Liverpool I was not surprise as on private meetings I said to anyone I will play for Liverpool and there is no one which I told bet on Chelsea. Drogba had malaria last week. Large handicap on Fulham and they are kings of draws. Fulham not easy to beat and Stamford Bridge is very close for them if they lose very narrowly. A bunch of losing picks with many different reasons: flood of red cards, controversial referee decisions, bad moment bad place, some of money rescued on next games like Napoli or Juventus and life is going on. This is a long term project and if next month using the same approach will be red I will chenge approach. Sometimes I am romantic and wishful thinking pushes me to bet what I like to be but if November is again red I will play against 'my' teams which should bring better results. Counting that referees will not whistle for United is starting to beeing naive but what to do this is reality of English football.

yesterday picks went wrong but at least for the first time I have not reservations about own goals, red cards, controversial referees decisions (maybe small exception penalty for Bolton but rest OK) and 'helping hand from heaven' - Aston Villa did not convert advantage, Sunderland finally bad game when I counted on them. Every wrong pick webt wrong in acceptable way
as in last time only unofficial picks succeed I 'wish' to see WBA to win this game. Tey made good signings it is not the case DiMatteo is genious - it is too short time to say this. Blackpool running down the hill and will lose more and more - surprise factor gone this team is lowly skilled. Should be around Championship bottom promoted last year but dream is coming to an end.
