everyone is on City now, especially after United flop at Old Trafford earlier in the day which raises odds on Wolves not to lose. I know terry Connor is a total joke and 'housekeeper' on Wolves' managerial position as they did not decide to hire real manager but don't forget City before thrashning Norwich played nothing away, gaining less points than game played over large piece of time. Wolves have to fight for staying in this leage, although they are the weakest team in PL for years (why not relegated earlier is a longer story) and only a win actually saves their season for another week - in case of lose they are 100 percent relegated. Wolves like to give a fight against strongest oposition - they will lose today 0-5 again or they won't lose. Betting on straight away win is like travelling on the roof of overcrowded train - you can reach target but you can be surprised.

Liverpool's season is over in the league - they have time to experiment and guests are under no real preasure and despite Fortune today they can be lucky at Anfield today - or is Liverpool to be unlucky again? Betting on Liverpool at funny odds is not worth for ages.

All of today's pick can have the same justification - it is desperation which is I'm sure more or less the same at every team but there is a difference in terms of potential and skills between teams. Out of away teams playing today Wolves are definitely worst team with a cook or kitchen porter on managerial seat but they still managed to play some nice actions if not quite big parts of match like Blackburn or Bolton fixtures. Sunderland have nothing to play for, can afford to take day or two off ;) It would be shame not to benefit on Wolves nice result, with team nothing to play for.


Blackburn looking at their list of fixtures till the end of season it is a must win game, not deadly but must win, getting at least a point today is just a must. Again Swansea have nothing to play for and keep losing games. Swansea surely will be relegated next season - they are following Hull or Burnley - one season revelation but on more and more occasions experienced team will come there and will beat them without any special effort (Newcastle, Everton, and there will be much more).


QPR result looks suspicious as team with their display was dead and buried but they won out of the blue games with Arsenal or Liverpool and looks like they have some wishing them well friends. I don't know who it is - owner, other teams, or football federaion - but they are relegation number one material after 80 percent of season than suddenly win after win after win - some of London clubs are saved by helping hand from federation when they have a bad year I think this time we have to do with this in QPR case

Some thoughts about midweek games

I was ill for last two days so I was not able to post my picks for midweek games.

It was hard to imagine for Blackburn to lose game against Liverpool - my pick would be definitely Blackburn not to lose but Liverpool somehow managed to win in dying seconds thanks to Carroll header. Before this Blackburn did not convert penalty and 11 vs 10 game for significant part of the game. I had a very good Monday and after a good run it is always time to step back and I avoided missed pick.

Situation in City was a puzzle. I wonder why Mancini bought Balotelli and put this clown as a main striker for many games as this is main factor of losing all advantage for United. Silva and Aguero are a top line-up for City forward and wonder why Mancini changed it - maybe agent fees have something to do but City lost a lot more by bringing Balotelli to the pitch as this costed them 8-10 points and playing teams like Stoke or Swansea this line up means City wanted deliberately to lose points - I just wonder why.

Wolves did not sign SteveBbruce, regretting to spend 3,5 millions and they will lose about 60 millions by getting relegated. Terry Connor is a total misunderstanding, maybe he is a good gardener or club areas cleaer but I can only speculate what was the reason of bringing total greenhorn to serious job. Arsenal - extremely tired after City win - got easily what they wanted and if they played seriously for bigger part of the game score should be 0-5 0-6. There is no rescue for Wolves on the horizon.

United's display was a joke yesterday, looks like they gave points to Wigan and after seeing what United presented yesterday this team should be in bottom half of the table. You will see in next home game they turn 'fifth gear' on and most probably win over Aston Villa and Everton. Yesterday's game looked for me like a gift for friends which can be a big boost for Wigan's salvation hopes. Remember - Wigan will never get relegated ;)

anyone seeing yesterday's Arsenal - Man City game saw it should be at least 3-0 for Arsenal and City as I predicted had no single chance, but somehow Arsenal hit post three times, bocked 100 percent OWN shots and clown Balotelli should be thrown away in the 30th minute not 85th one.

Anyway today Everton should play fringe players (they drawn somehow at Norwich with the same squad) and I expect today home team will lose to Sunderland because of FA Cup next Saturday Wembley semifinal. Sunderland have something to prove here as they were eliminated by Everton in quarterfnal few weeks ago.

No chance for Bolton today, I mean if they'll get something today it will be a matter of huge luck, but rolling Newcastle team should thrash poor playing Bolton - away team is certain relegation material despite three wins in a row in recent weeks.


Tottenham is not convincing apart from Adebayor's two headers in the closing minutes against Swansea and that was a matter of poor defending by Swansea team, Norwich may surprise home team, at least they have definitely bigger chances of getting something than Bolton

I did not release Man Utd's game due to uncertainity but I am pretty sure this game will go into Arsenal's way, especially after City knowing that United will be piloted by the referees and FA to the title so they title dream is over. Arsenal needs points very much in race for CL position and they will get at least a point today. Mancini is stubborn to put this italian clown Balotelli on the pitch which is lethal decision, especially in the away games. Looks like they drop away games for some time, some of Mancini's decisions are hard to understand, actually quite a lot look like this. Welcome and hello

Just little explanation although I have enough time finally to write longer one. Liverpool wrote their league season off, having Cup Merseyside derby in mind and celebrating first trophy since Kenny Dalglish arrived and since many years for club at all. They give up games, knowing that they can not break well organized teams at Anfield and I don't think they have any ambitions today against stingy Newcastle team - you will see how Andy Carroll will be booed today.
The only thing I regret I did not play Wigan win DNB at Anfield last week as my readers know Wigan will never be relegated and they surpass even my expectations (though they will rather lose to Stoke but they won again).
No point to give a game for Liverpool today and they should be smashed in front of 50 000 aggressive fans and 11 dangerous players. Home win!
